Who is Stephen Randall?
Stephen Randall was born in Zanesville, OH and was one of four brothers. At an early age, a family divorce prompted his family to relocate to Orlando,FL. Moving to a new city taught him the importance of discipline, hard work, and dedication as he now knew no one yet in this new place. His introduction to music came from his father who was a DJ in his adolescent years , and would bring a young Randall to his DJ events where his passion for music first flourished. Continuing into his middle school years Randall played percussion for the school/jazz band and gained collaborative experience playing in live bands and fundamentals of playing and collaborating with a large group at an early age. Fast forward to his adult life shortly after high school he and some like minded friends formed a record label scouting local talent.
Introduction to Producing
In a city named Deltona located in central Florida, Randall and his colleagues began getting attention in surrounding cities as artists that worked with his label were gaining notoriety and now performing in various cities throughout Florida. Randall met with Wihl "Silent H" Rodriguez and learned the basics of production and song creation in Sanford,FL. Thereafter moving away from Deltona, Randall, and long time friend Angelo Canicatti created a production company and studio called One Touch Entertainment based out of Longwood,FL. Sleepless nights and a constant dedication to growing the label and learning anyway possible. Friend and fellow studio owner and Co-Producer of "The Invisibles" Ross Smith, was instrumental in Randall diving into learning engineering and production in depth. Later that year One Touch Studios earned “Studio of the Year“ in the 1st Annual Orlando Music Awards in 2015. One Touch Entertainment amongst renowned studios such as Plush, Studio 18, and KDS and managed to win, bringing more local attention and business to the location. Shortly after needing more space as demand was increasing , Randall ventured into his next challenge.
Randall teamed up with producer Anthony James to create Kustom Sounds Studios, James also had his own label called Kustom Made Records. During their two year tenure Randall produced or engineered for major acts such as X Factor finalist Lillie McCloud, Cash Money Records Artist Caskey and KPE,NIKO IS, Lil Flip, Flipmode member Spliffstar, Coke Boys, Young Swiffa, Bricksquad and many more. After this venture was completed Randall sought out to be a sole entity creating the name “RandalldidIt” and decided to focus solely on engineering. This is when he met his current partner Adrian ”Auidi” Vazquez who was seeking out a lead engineer for his studio.
The Big Move!
Randall and Auidi quickly developed a plan to get the team out to Los Angeles and pursue a career in music full time. With help from friend and fellow artist Wizzle Nation introducing them to manager Nelson Diaz they were very quickly able to hit the ground running. Auidi decided to create the company ADV, LLC with Randall as his second in command at the time. From the opportunities and prime location of Los Angeles, Randall began attracting higher profile clients such as Lil Baby, Kap G, Rizzo Rizzo, $teven Cannon, Lil Xan, and various Social Media Influencers such as Alli Fitz who landed a trailer song for a TV series in the first year of working together and Tiagz early on in his career. Shortly after Randall’s Los Angeles move Manager Nelson Diaz introduced us to his partner's studio which was the renowned “Fab Factory” founded by Mix Engineer Shaun Fabos and family. Also a resident of Fab Factory, legendary mix engineer Dave Pensado became a friend and mentor who he could call and text for advice and tips which was vital and humbling to the up and coming engineer needing guidance in both professional and personal situations. With access to elite award winning acoustically treated rooms and top of the line equipment, Randall began sharpening his skills and turning in better results.
Professional Chapter
In May 2019, ADV expanded and created a thriving studio in North Hollywood,CA called “Studio 7” founded by Adrian Vazquez. Its LED cloud lit control room has been a creative draw for local and artists abroad.The team has also Joined forces with Nelson Diaz of BTB Music Group, based in Los Angeles gearing up to signing new artists and continuing to create “world” records to shape and shift the culture of modern music. In January 2020, Randall signed an agreement to become an A&R Coordinator for ACME Music Co. LLC. Founded by Midi-Mafia’s Bruce Waynne and Music Executive Mogul, Mark Ross and hit songwriter Lucas Banker.
After a one year stint at ACME, Randall, Adrian Chafer, Adrian “Auidi” Vazquez, Corey Scherer decided to create a record label called NOGXNRE. They quickly signed a venture deal with Latin powerhouse label OneRPM. Then quickly received multiple sponsors such as KRK and Native Instruments. Shortly after Adrian Chafer brought artist PRZNT to the table. NOGXNRE, PRZNT, and OneRPM joined together to execute the first ever all encompassing crypto deal with financial advising. Latin Billboard did an interview with the team as PRZNT is a Cuban/American artist. Randall still maintained his personal clientele, still focused on mixing engineering and staying on the creative side of things and working full time at Studio 7. There is where he started amassing credits such as Multi Grammy award winning songwriter Malik Yusef and Grammy and Platinum writer Plaquey Chan,Andre Merritt, Al Sherrod Lambert,Billboard Killer, and many others sharpening his understanding of how a hit record is to be formulated or the writing side. On the recording artist side of the business he worked with 24HRS, MadeinTYO, BlocBoyJB, Aylek$, Kevin Lyttle, A$ap Twelvyy, Papithbk,Lady London, Illijah Moon, Snoop Dogg and many others either mixing or recording a Studio 7. Randall has now amassed over 30M+ streams and 100M+ views on content with his work involved. Randall has recently decided to come full circle and move back to Florida in the downtown area after almost 10 years in Los Angeles to continue his music journey!
